Job Summary
Verify insurance and initiate the pre-certification process for patient visits. Work independently with strong communication skills and basic typing ability. Requires two years of experience in insurance verification, pre-certification, billing, or related positions, with three years preferred. College education with a business emphasis and completed medical terminology course are assets. Schedule runs from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Required Qualifications
- Two (2) years experience in insurance verification, pre‐certification, billing, or related insurance position
- Equivalent education
- Computer skills
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Good communication skills
- Basic typing ability
Desired Qualifications
- Three (3) years prior experience in insurance verification, or related insurance position
- Two (2) years of college with an emphasis in Business
- Completed medical terminology course
