Job Summary
Greet and welcome patients, family members, and visitors to the clinic while assisting them to the seating area and arranging transportation. Answer phone lines, take messages, and conduct outbound calls as instructed. Verify that all insurance benefits are active and active, collect co-pays, and process patient referrals with authorizations. Update patient information and make changes to the EMR platform. Attend all clinic huddles and monthly meetings.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years progressive work experience in the healthcare industry
- 2+ years of customer service
- Bi-lingual-(English/Spanish)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- CPR/BLS Certified (or willing to obtain within 7 days of employment)
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Healthcare Administration, Business, or Hospitality preferred
- Experience managing referrals and authorizations preferred
- Experience in Value-based care operations preferred
- Experience documenting electronic medical records
