Job Summary
Utilize payer web portals to obtain patients' current insurance information and update it in the client system. Verify insurance data against scanned cards to ensure accuracy, then follow procedures for filing claims and commenting all actions within internal and host systems. Work independently from assigned queues while maintaining daily productivity and quality standards. Adhere to departmental policies, communicate effectively with leadership, and strictly comply with HIPAA standards by limiting PHI viewing to the absolute minimum. Requires a smartphone for multifactor authentication and proficiency with practice management software such as Cerner or EPIC.

- Experience with practice management software: GE Centricity, EPIC PB, Cerner, Allscripts
- Knowledge of individual payor websites, including eviCore, Navinet and Novitasphere
- Ability to work well individually and in a team environment
- Strong organizational and task prioritization skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Must have basic Excel skillset
