Job Summary
Insurance Verification & Benefits Specialist responsible for verifying commercial insurance benefits, auditing admission charts for multiple sites, validating payer information (Medicaid/Medi-Cal), ensuring accurate Notice of Election data, and supporting billing/compliance processes. Works with Central Intake, location business offices, and corporate billing; emphasizes HIPAA compliance, confidentiality, and quality initiatives while assisting patients and families. Requires strong written and verbal communication, multi-tasking, organizational skills, and analytical problem-solving abilities. Full-time role with comprehensive benefits including tuition reimbursement, PTO/holidays, and health/Dental/Vision/Life insurance, plus HSA and 401(k).
