Job Summary
Lead insurance domain architecture by defining enterprise-level strategies and scalable, cloud-native platforms for distribution models like bancassurance and agency channels. Translate business capabilities into technology solutions while collaborating with product, operations, and engineering teams to ensure alignment with strategic goals. Provide design guidance to engineering squads, oversee full lifecycle delivery from ideation to post-deployment evolution, and craft compelling proposals for diverse stakeholders. Ensure all solutions meet rigorous requirements for performance, security, and resilience using modern stacks including microservices, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience in the Insurance industry, with deep understanding of insurance operations, products, and regulatory environments
- Demonstrate expertise across insurance distribution models including bancassurance, agency, broker, and third-party partnerships
- Provide architectural leadership across insurance service domains
- Translate business capabilities into scalable technology solutions
- Work closely with insurance product, operations, and distribution teams
- Define enterprise-level architecture strategies and target-state platforms for insurance technology ecosystems
- Design scalable, secure, and resilient platforms using modern technology stacks and cloud-native architectures
- Evaluate and recommend technology solution options
- Develop architecture and technology roadmaps aligned with business priorities and long-term strategic goals
- Craft clear and compelling solution proposals
- Facilitate alignment among diverse stakeholders
- Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, testing teams, and engineering teams
- Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to senior business stakeholders and technical teams
- Provide detailed architecture and design guidance to engineering teams
- Ensure solutions meet business capability, performance, security, and resilience requirements
- Oversee solutions across the full lifecycle—from ideation and architecture to implementation and post-deployment evolution
- Ensure solutions are maintainable, scalable, and operationally efficient after go-live
- Strong Insurance domain experience
- Proven experience designing solutions within insurance organizations or insurance technology platforms
- Experience designing enterprise-scale architectures in cloud environments (AWS or GCP)
- Strong knowledge of microservices architectures, container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes), and distributed systems
- Experience with modern SDLC practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and automated deployments
- Familiarity with modern technology stacks across front-end and back-end ecosystems
