Job Summary
Insurance Sales Director role for the Canadian Mandarin-speaking market. Develop a tactical business plan to achieve regional sales targets for life and health insurance products, build and maintain advisor relationships, deliver in-person and virtual presentations/seminars, provide advanced case consultations, promote Sun Life’s value proposition to advisors, collaborate with the AVP to execute strategy, and ensure compliance with Sun Life policies and external regulations. Requires Mandarin and English fluency, expert life/health product knowledge, strong sales and presentation skills, and a university degree or equivalent experience; eligibility for professional designations such as CFP/CLU/ChFC is noted. The position includes hybrid and remote work options within Canada and offers a base salary range of 110,000 to 180,000 CAD along with incentive plans.
Required Qualifications
- University degree or business equivalent experience
- Fluency in Mandarin and English
- Life and health product knowledge
- Strong sales and presentation skills
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Knowledge of financial planning software and illustrations
- Understanding of tax and estate planning
- Professional Financial Planner (PFP/Fin. Pl.), CFP, CLU/AVA, or ChFC designation desired
- Life and Health Insurance License
