Job Summary
Assist customers with insurance needs including new policies, editing existing policies, taking payments, renewals, and reinstating policies. Inspect vehicles to evaluate risk characteristics and seek out new clients by generating prospect lists and developing clientele through networking and marketing. Perform administrative tasks, handle policy renewals, contact underwriting to complete policies, and manage daily housekeeping routines. This in-office position requires reliable transportation and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must have reliable transportation for daily marketing
- Basic Computer knowledge
- Strong written, verbal, and people skills
- Able to work independently with minimal/no supervision
- Able to quickly learn any Company/Proprietary software
- Complete continuing education courses as required to maintain active license status with TDI
Desired Qualifications
- Customer Service/Insurance Sales Experience
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
- Hold a valid and current Limited Lines or Property & Casualty License in Texas
- Strong sales mentality
