Job Summary
Assist customers with insurance needs including new policies, editing existing policies, taking payments, renewals, and reinstating policies. Inspect vehicles for condition, age, and characteristics to determine acceptable insurance risk. Seek out new clients by generating prospect lists, networking, and developing clientele through marketing strategies. Perform administrative tasks, handle policy renewals, contact underwriting to complete policies, and assist with daily housekeeping routines. This IN-OFFICE position requires reliable transportation and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must have reliable transportation for daily marketing
- Basic Computer knowledge
- Strong written skills
- Strong verbal skills
- Strong people skills
- Able to work independently with minimal/no supervision
- Able to quickly learn any Company/Proprietary software
Desired Qualifications
- Customer Service/Insurance Sales Experience
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
- Hold a valid and current Limited Lines or Property & Casualty License in Texas
