Job Summary
Insurance Sales Agent in-office role in Lubbock, TX. Responsibilities include assisting customers with various insurance needs (new policies, edits, payments, renewals, reinstatements), inspecting vehicles to assess risk, prospecting and networking to attract clients, developing marketing strategies with the office manager, performing administrative tasks and handling policy renewals, and coordinating with underwriting. Requires strong customer focus, organizational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to learn proprietary software. Training and licensing assistance are provided; licensure in Texas is encouraged. Bilingual (Spanish/English) is preferred but not required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required
- Hold a valid and current Limited Lines or Property & Casualty License in Texas (highly preferred, but not required)
- Must have reliable transportation
- Basic Computer knowledge and strong written, verbal, and people skills
- Able to work independently with minimal/no supervision
- Complete continuing education courses to maintain active license status with TDI
