Job Summary
Insurance Sales Agent role in-office in New Braunfels, TX. Responsibilities include assisting customers with new insurance policies, editing existing policies, taking payments, renewing and reinstating policies; inspecting vehicles to assess risk; generating prospective clients and developing clientele through networking and marketing; performing administrative tasks and handling policy renewals; coordinating with underwriting and office management to support policy execution; and participating in ongoing training and licensing support. Ideal candidate is customer-focused with strong organizational and interpersonal skills, bilingual Spanish/English preferred, and capable of working independently in an in-office setting with licensing support provided. This role offers hourly pay plus uncapped commission, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for growth and advancement.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Hold a valid and current Limited Lines or Property & Casualty License in Texas (highly preferred, but not required)
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required
- Customer Service/Insurance Sales Experience preferred but not required
- Reliable transportation for daily marketing
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Complete continuing education courses to maintain active license status with TDI
