Job Summary
Insurance Sales Agent role in-office in San Antonio, TX. Responsibilities include assisting customers with various insurance needs (new policies, edits to existing policies, payments, renewals, and reinstatements), inspecting vehicles to assess risk, proactively seeking new clients and developing clientele through networking and marketing, performing administrative tasks and coordinating with underwriting to finalize policies, and supporting daily housekeeping duties. The position offers paid training and licensing assistance, uncapped commission with hourly pay, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for career growth. Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills are preferred but not required, and a valid Texas insurance license is highly preferred but not required. Strong customer service, interpersonal, and computer skills, along with the ability to work independently, are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Hold a valid and current Limited Lines or Property & Casualty License in Texas (highly preferred, but not required)
- Must have reliable transportation
- Basic computer knowledge
- Strong written, verbal, and people skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Complete continuing education courses to maintain active license status with TDI
