Job Summary
Insurance Sales Agent 1 in Raleigh, NC responsible for selling and servicing ACG-branded and brokered insurance products, memberships, and financial products. Uses sales techniques and product knowledge to identify customer needs, generate new business, retain insureds, and grow the insurance book. Must meet or exceed targets defined in the sales incentive plan; conducts insurance reviews to identify suitable products; issues policies; participates in local branch events to solicit new business and expand networks. Requires active/state Property & Casualty and Life licenses (Health/Accident where applicable), High School diploma, 1+ year of customer-facing experience, strong sales and communication skills, CRM/Microsoft Office proficiency, ability to work in a branch, and willingness to work irregular hours including weekends. Includes signing bonus, competitive base pay with uncapped commission, benefits, 401k match, PTO, and ongoing training. Location is Raleigh, NC; role is full-time and on-site with the potential for some travel to local events. Required Qualifications
- Active State Property & Casualty Insurance Sales license
- Active State Life Insurance Sales license, or obtain within 90 days of hire
- Health and Accident licenses and appointments where applicable as deemed necessary
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year(s) of customer-facing experience in a fast-paced computer automated business environment
- Strong sales skills with knowledge of effectively developing, tracking, following up on and closing leads
- Consultative selling techniques with thorough product knowledge
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with customer focus
- Ambition, motivation and drive
- Knowledge of CRM and Microsoft Office software applications
- Ability to work in a branch environment and travel to local branch events
- Ability to work irregular hours with possible weekend work
- Background check and drug screen per company requirements
