Job Summary

Lead the collection, compilation, and validation of underwriting data for insurance renewals across all lines of business. Manage Certificate of Insurance requests and review vendor/contractor COIs to ensure compliance with Waymo's risk management standards. Review insurance binders, endorsements, and premium invoicing to verify precision against negotiated program terms. Partner cross-functionally with internal teams as the point of contact for routine insurance inquiries and coordinate day-to-day processes with external partners, including brokers and insurers. This hybrid role reports to the Head of Insurance Infrastructure within Waymo's Legal team, supporting the company's transformational autonomous driving technology and global regulatory compliance efforts.

  • Ability to analyze Waymo's insurance and risk management programs
  • 5% travel

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working within innovative, fast-paced technology, and dynamic environments
  • Working knowledge of contractual risk transfer
  • Working knowledge of indemnity clauses
  • Working knowledge of insurance compliance monitoring
  • Professional insurance certifications or progress toward designations (e.g., ARM, CPCU, CRIS, or equivalent)
