Job Summary
Review client renewals, compare current policies with renewal terms, and investigate premium increases. Identify coverage gaps, errors, or omissions, then requote policies as needed. Advise clients on risk management and additional insurance needs while entering data into the agency management system. Stay current on carrier guidelines and report potential errors or complaints immediately. Requires a state personal lines license and 2+ years in personal lines customer service.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of high school diploma or the equivalent
- 2+ years in personal lines customer service
- Working knowledge of insurance agency operations, coverages, rates, markets, and applicable insurance laws/codes
- Thorough knowledge of all personal lines insurance products
- Current state personal lines insurance agent/broker license
