Job Summary
Insurance Product & Policy Specialist at AustralianSuper (12-month maximum term contract) responsible for maintaining and evolving the Fund’s group insurance policies in line with the IMF, designing and developing the insurance product offering, implementing simplification initiatives, providing SME guidance on insurance communications (SENs, PDSs, insurance forms, education material, tender responses), leading small projects, monitoring an insurance product inbox, and applying regulatory requirements. Requires solid experience in superannuation and insurance, knowledge of group/retail life insurance, ability to read and explain policy terms and conditions, strong written and oral communication skills, stakeholder management, and project delivery capability.
Required Qualifications
- Solid experience in superannuation and insurance
- Knowledge of the group and/or retail life insurance
- Ability to read, analyse, interpret and explain insurance policy terms and conditions
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
- Ability to write reports and member communications; and to proofread
- Ability to read, analyse, understand/interpret and explain technical documents (insurance policy terms, legislation)
- Ability to manage relationships with stakeholders and support delivery of product initiatives and projects
- Attention to detail and proactive initiative
