Job Summary
Insurance Producer role with Horace Mann in Pittsburgh, PA. Focus on solving educators' financial challenges through a multi-line portfolio of insurance and financial service products. Responsibilities include presenting to potential customers both one-on-one and in large groups, participating in networking/community/sales/events to expand professional connections, engaging with the local community, staying current with industry trends, and achieving market-entry success by building strong client relationships. Requires Life & Health and Property & Casualty licenses (or ability to obtain); compensation is incentive-based with uncapped earnings, sign-on bonus, and various bonuses/bonuses incentives. Work setting includes in-person, in the field, and office. Emphasizes training, educator-focused products, and a no external office requirement with opportunities for travel to client engagements.
Required Qualifications
- Licenses/certifications: Life & Health Insurance License; Property & Casualty License or ability to obtain them
- Resident state General Lines licenses or ability to obtain licenses as required by state law
- Ability to present to customers in one-on-one and large group settings
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills
- Interest in educating clients and understanding educators' financial challenges
