Job Summary
Insurance Producer will educate and sell Property & Casualty, and other lines of Insurance through Flat Branch Insurance Services, with in-person training and potential for remote/hybrid work based on experience. Responsibilities include contacting prospective clients, meeting with clients to discuss coverage, explaining policies, guiding clients in selecting coverage, suggesting policy updates, building customized policies, processing renewals, assisting with claims, maintaining records, and performing related duties.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Licensed to sell insurance in applicable states
- 2 years of related experience preferred
- Extensive knowledge of various insurance products and policies
- Ability to determine best insurance policy for individual clients
- Excellent interpersonal and sales skills
- Ability to identify and contact prospective clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
- Proficiency in Vertafore systems a plus
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
