Job Summary
Insurance Producer who will educate and sell Property & Casualty and other insurance lines through Flat Branch Insurance Services. Initial in-person training with potential remote or hybrid work thereafter. Responsibilities include contacting prospective clients, meeting with clients to assess coverage, explaining policies, recommending and building customized insurance packages, processing policy renewals, assisting with claims, and maintaining records.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Licensed to sell insurance in applicable states
- 2 years of related experience preferred
- Extensive knowledge of various insurance products and policies
- Ability to determine best insurance policy for individual clients
- Excellent interpersonal and sales skills
- Ability to identify and contact prospective clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
- Proficiency in Vertafore systems a plus
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
