Job Summary
Insurance Producer role with Horace Mann in Duluth, MN focused on solving educators' financial challenges through tailored insurance solutions. Responsibilities include presenting to potential clients one-on-one or in groups, educating on Life & Health and Property & Casualty products, engaging in community and networking events to expand professional connections, staying current with industry trends, building and managing a book of business, and working under a mentor to ensure success. Requires obtaining or currently holding state licenses in Life & Health and Property & Casualty; strong interpersonal and presentation skills; self-motivation and ability to independently manage your business. Compensation includes sign-on bonus, uncapped commissions, structured incentives, and bonuses; work environment includes in-person, field, and/or office settings.
Required Qualifications
- State licenses in Life & Health and Property & Casualty
- Ability to obtain or currently hold state licenses in Life & Health and Property & Casualty
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
- Self-motivation and ability to manage your own business
- Experience in insurance sales or related field preferred
- In-person field-based sales and/or office-based work environment
- 1099/contractor compensation structure and unlimited earning potential
