Job Summary
Develop foundational insurance brokerage knowledge and consultative selling skills through structured training, coaching, and mentorship. Support business development by identifying prospective clients, generating leads, and building a healthy sales pipeline using Salesforce. Partner with experienced producers for client meetings, needs assessments, and proposal presentations while delivering exceptional client service and responding to inquiries. Build professional relationships through industry and community networking events to expand market presence. Complete required licensing, certification, and program milestones within established timelines to progress toward a Producer role. This temporary position with potential conversion to full-time after six months offers hands-on exposure to all aspects of client relationship management in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to obtain a Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license within 60 days of hire
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport and develop professional relationships
- Demonstrated interest in sales, business development, customer service, or the insurance industry
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
- Coachable mindset with a willingness to accept feedback and apply new skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to network confidently and represent the organization in professional and community settings
- Commitment to completing required training, licensing, and development program milestones
