Insurance Premium Technician

Job Summary
Perform technical checks on insurance documentation to ensure accuracy and conformity with market SLAs; identify discrepancies in documents and use IT-based systems to support the processing workflow under supervision; liaise with customers and brokers to resolve queries; own and input details into databases to initiate settlements/updates; provide accurate reporting and contribute to process improvements. Training and development opportunities are provided, with a collaborative, quality-focused team culture and a flexible hybrid working model combining remote work with some office presence in Chatham or London. Strong numeracy, literacy, and IT skills (Outlook/MS Office) and excellent customer service are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Strong numeracy, verbal and literacy skills
- Computer literate with working knowledge of Outlook and MS Office
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Attention to detail and high accuracy in work
- Ability to meet turnaround times and quality SLAs
- Experience with insurance documentation checks (desirable)
