Job Summary
Insurance Operations Manager responsible for providing senior leadership over all operational, financial and management functions within a multinational insurance company. Oversees day-to-day operations including policy issuance, claims processing, underwriting and customer service; manages budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting; ensures compliance with insurance laws and industry standards; leads a high-performing operations team and delivers regular operational and financial reports to senior management; drives continuous process improvements and leverages technology and automation to boost productivity; possesses in-depth knowledge of the insurance industry and products across the full lifecycle of insurance operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Insurance, or related field
- At least 9 years of experience in senior management roles within the insurance industry as General Manager, Senior Operations Manager or similar role
- Proven experience overseeing large-scale operations, financial management and risk management within an insurance company
- Extensive knowledge of various insurance products and market dynamics
- Experience in managing cross-functional teams and overseeing diverse operational areas such as underwriting, claims, policy administration and customer service
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team to achieve operational goals
- Exceptional financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets, forecast, analyze financial reports and drive cost-efficiency initiatives
