Job Summary
Manage new business and renewal marketing for mid-size commercial P&C accounts by pre-qualifying risks, partnering with producers to gather underwriting information, and preparing applications for carrier submission. Review quotes for accuracy and competitiveness, then present recommended options to account managers. Maintain organized documentation in the agency's CRM, track carrier follow-up, and build professional relationships while staying informed on market trends and coverage changes. Act as an agency ambassador to identify cross-departmental referral opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Property & Casualty (P&C) license acquired upon hire or to be obtained within 90 days of employment
- 2+ years of insurance industry experience
- Experience in client facing insurance roles (Account Manager, CSR, etc.)
- Familiarity with the process of managing an account through renewal or initial binding
