Insurance Manager

Oversee Gunvor's global insurance strategy to protect company assets, liabilities, and operations by managing corporate and local programs, optimizing risk allocation between external markets and the captive, and advising business units on risk mitigation. Maintain, improve, and renew group policies while challenging renewals on premium and cover, and administer required policies to consolidate Group insurance data. Identify, evaluate, and mitigate operational risks across entities and new projects, then notify and follow up claims with brokers and insurers to drive timely resolution. Review service competitiveness through annual stewardship reports and RFPs, while educating staff on program features and brief entities on changes. Estimate annual premiums, assess claim trends, develop loss prevention budgets, and produce regular risk reports, alongside monitoring market developments relevant to oil & gas.
