Insurance Follow Up Representative

Accounts Receivable Specialist – Physician AR: Responsible for following up on unpaid claims, analyzing denials, and ensuring timely reimbursement from third-party payers and patients. Analyze and resolve denied or underpaid claims, review and resubmit corrected claims, respond to patient inquiries, maintain detailed documentation of collection activities, make outbound communications to payers and patients, escalate complex issues to the AR Manager, assist with audits, ensure compliance with federal/state/payer regulations, and collaborate with billing and coding teams to reduce denials and improve cash flow.
