Job Summary
Insurance Defense Paralegal in the Miami office with three or more years of prior experience in insurance defense litigation, pre-suit, civil litigation, auto negligence and/or general liability. Responsibilities include summarizing medical records, bills, and supporting documents; creating medical chronologies and bill summaries; communicating with clients, carriers, and counsel in a team environment; proficiency with Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Adobe, and Excel; must be task-oriented and able to work independently in a fast-paced, friendly environment. Required Qualifications
- Three or more years of prior experience in insurance defense litigation (preferred)
- experience in pre-suit, civil litigation, auto negligence and/or general liability (preferred)
- strong written and oral communication skills
- working knowledge of Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Adobe & Excel
- ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- ability to communicate effectively with clients, carriers, and counsel
