Insurance Customer Service Representative

Job Summary
Licensed insurance professional to interact with customers to quote, write and manage all facets of their insurance policies. Will primarily be charged with handling existing book activities such as policy changes, re-market quotes, and document follow up. Initial training will be held in person with a possibility of working from home or hybrid depending on experience. Responsibilities include service to internal leads and existing book of business, monitoring renewals and providing re-market quotes, contacting policyholders to deliver and explain policies, initiating back-end follow up, ensuring policy requirements are fulfilled (including necessary inspections and forms for coverage), informing clients when claims are made, performing administrative tasks (maintaining records, providing documents to third parties, handling renewals), maintaining client relationships through support and guidance, sharing expertise to educate customers and build trust, and contributing to customer relationships with transparency and honesty.
Required Qualifications
- Maintain current licensing in all applicable states
- Working knowledge of insurance and state regulations for personal lines
- Experience quoting and working with multiple carriers in a broker environment
- Experience working in AMS 360 Management System or Applied System
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Motivated self-starter comfortable working in a broker environment
