Job Summary
Analyze insurance coverage and prepare opinions regarding first party property and general liability matters. Conduct litigation support including depositions, court hearings, and drafting motions. Represent insurers, reinsurers, third-party administrators, brokers, and agents in monitoring, mediations, arbitrations, and declaratory relief litigation across state and federal courts. Interpret contracts of all kinds for the firm's Insurance Coverage Practice, a recognized leader in the area. Requires eight to fifteen years of experience, litigation background, strong research and writing skills, and Texas Bar admission.
Required Qualifications
- at least eight (8) to fifteen (15) years of experience analyzing insurance coverage and preparing coverage opinions regarding first party property and general liability matters
- litigation experience, including taking depositions, attending court hearing, and drafting and arguing motions
- Strong research and writing skills
- Admission to the Texas Bar
