Job Summary
Assess new files to establish action plans, budgets, and recommendations, then identify pleading requirements and delegate tasks to paralegals. Prepare discovery responses, manage document production, and attend depositions, hearings, and other discovery events while providing thorough reports. Negotiate settlements, secure authority, and prepare for trial as necessary, maintaining regular communication with legal assistants. This partner-level role includes formal mentorship, a membership track with defined benchmarks, and hybrid work options for those residing near the Atlanta office.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of practice experience in insurance coverage and/or general litigation
- Must be licensed to practice in Georgia
- Willingness to learn and work autonomously and within a team structure
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Initiative and the ability to multitask
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
- Hybrid work options
- Must reside in close proximity of our office to come in on occasion
