Job Summary
Analyze insurance policies, research and develop coverage positions, and represent clients in litigations and administrative proceedings to provide counsel on complex insurance coverage disputes. This role involves working with insurance companies, policyholders, and other stakeholders, requiring a Juris Doctor degree, admission to practice in Florida, and five or more years of experience in insurance coverage litigation. The position demands strong research, writing, and analytical skills within a fast-paced environment, with an emphasis on effective communication and interpersonal abilities. Familiarity with Florida law, alternative dispute resolution, and specialized certifications is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in the State of Florida
- 5+ years of experience in insurance coverage litigation or related practice area
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with insurance coverage disputes, including knowledge of policy analysis and coverage issues
- Familiarity with Florida law and procedure
