Job Summary
Meet regularly with dialysis patients to educate them on insurance options such as Medicare, Medicaid, and COBRA, while ensuring they complete application processes and obtain necessary signatures. Obtain premium statements, verify eligibility by contacting Social Security offices, and act as a liaison for Medicare terminations and reinstatements. Monitor monthly Medicaid status, track 30-month coordinator periods, and evaluate personal financial information to determine indigent program eligibility. Complete initial and annual waiver applications, resolve claim disputes, and verify accurate insurance information for the Accounts Receivable Department. Prepare and analyze monthly reports to track caseloads, audit billing systems for discrepancies, and provide QA team members with patient insurance status updates.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2 - 5 years' related experience
- Valid Driver's License
- Must have a valid Driver's License
- Extensive local travel
- Must be able to travel extensively to clinics in a specified geographic area

- Social Work or other Healthcare focus
