Job Summary
Review and code medical documentation for services in homecare, hospital, and medical center settings to ensure precise insurance claim coding and timely reimbursements. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to resolve documentation issues, verify compliance with UAE healthcare regulations, and manage claim denials or rejections. Stay informed on updates to coding practices, insurance guidelines, and regulatory changes. Maintain proficiency in ICD-10, CPC, and HCPCS systems while adhering to strict UAE standards.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of UAE experience in insurance coding within a homecare, hospital, or medical center environment
- AAPC (American Academy of Professional Coders) certification is required (e.g., CPC, CCS)
- Proficiency in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
- Strong understanding of UAE healthcare regulations and insurance procedures
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Desired Qualifications
- Additional relevant certifications (e.g., CCS, CPC-H)
- Experience with coding software and electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Previous experience in a similar role within a UAE-based healthcare setting
