Job Summary
Manage a portfolio of smaller crop insurance clients by serving as their primary relationship manager, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and identifying cross-selling opportunities. Conduct ongoing coverage reviews, complete required documentation including applications and acreage reports, and facilitate claims by collaborating with sales teams and adjusters. Support the sales function by preparing quotes, reviewing documents for compliance, generating Power BI reports, and managing data entry into AIP and Salesforce systems. Maintain strong relationships with internal clients, external stakeholders, and third parties while ensuring all operational deadlines are met.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must have a valid crop insurance license or ability to obtain one within three months from the time of hire
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States
- Compeer is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in business administration, finance, economics, agriculture or other related field
- Entry-level experience in insurance or Ag related field
- High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other teams to achieve goals and represent the business
- Strong client service and interpersonal skills in dealing with both internal and external clients
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Onbase, AIP systems and/or other systems required to meet the client and organizational needs
- Basic agricultural knowledge
- General knowledge of crop insurance programs and information
- Strong listening, written and verbal communication skills, with ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
- Ability to meet strict non-negotiable deadlines
