Job Summary
Insurance Claims Supervisor for Voluntary Benefits manages a team of claim examiners, oversees processing of benefits payable under multiple group products, ensures timely, accurate claim decisions, trains new staff, interacts with internal/external customers, handles escalations/appeals, and provides process improvements. Requires Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience), at least 3 years in claims handling with supervisory experience, strong communication, familiarity with insurance workflows, and ability to work flexible shifts; travel may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience in the insurance or finance industries
- At least 3 years of financial transaction and/or claims handling experience in progressively responsible roles, including supervisory functions
