Insurance Billing Specialist

Prepare, submit, and follow up on insurance claims to ensure timely reimbursement for Utah Valley Pediatrics services. Track contracted allowable amounts, resolve unpaid or incorrectly paid claims through tracing programs and patient calls, and post assigned miscellaneous and electronic payments. Correctly process credit card transactions, answer phone calls to resolve patient questions, and defuse tense situations with irate customers while maintaining confidentiality. Participate in studies to improve billing processes and manage office supplies. Maintain a pleasant, organized office atmosphere while adhering to existing policies and procedures.
