Job Summary
Insurance Billing Coordinator coordinates with Zotec and Finance to manage accounts payable and receivables, reconciles payment reports to ensure timely processing of monthly payment batches, participates in billing expansion and other initiatives that impact billing processes, creates billing mechanisms for other billable services, maintains and updates contract-related records with the Finance department to ensure appropriate contracts are in place to bill (Hospitals, Local Health Departments, etc.), acts as liaison between managers and outside agencies to gather and relay information, and corresponds with clients to answer questions and resolve issues (in written and oral form).
