Job Summary
Insurance Associate Senior responsible for determining compliance of insurance policies on complex real estate loans, coordinating with borrowers, insurance agents, and insurers to obtain evidence of insurance and resolve noncompliant items, processing premiums and lender-placed insurance, and assisting with insurance waivers. The role involves interacting with internal/external partners, preparing case write-ups, and supporting risk management within PNC's Midland footprint. Ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, and stronger candidates have 5+ years of relevant experience with a focus on insurance regulatory requirements, real estate loan insurance, and strong analytical and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or 5+ years related experience
- Knowledge of insurance policies and regulatory environment for real estate loans
- Experience interacting with borrowers, insurance agents, and insurers
- Ability to resolve non-compliant coverage and discrepancies
- Ability to prepare insurance waivers and manage premium disbursements
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Attention to detail and risk management
- Experience with lender placed insurance and claims processing
- Ability to work with internal/external stakeholders such as vendors, master/special servicers, investors
- Understanding of loan documents, servicing contracts, and GSE guidelines
