Insurance Apprenticeship - Portlaoise

Insurance Apprenticeship role based in Portlaoise, with Howden Ireland. You will gain in-depth knowledge of risks and the insurance market to arrange suitable policies for clients, research policies and negotiate with underwriters, explain terms to clients, anticipate renewals or amendments, arrange specialized covers for complex cases, advise on risk management, and build ongoing client relationships. The programme combines on-the-job experience with completing APA and CIP exams and a Level 8 BA (Honours) in Insurance Practice (Apprenticeship) awarded by IT Sligo, over a three-year contract. You will be assigned a dedicated supervisor and mentor, and receive continuous on-the-job training.
