Job Summary
Directors will lead project teams within the Insurance and Recovery practice, overseeing quality work and delivering strategic guidance. Key responsibilities include managing client relationships, performing financial analyses, and preparing claims. Candidates should possess strong leadership abilities and client management skills, alongside substantial experience in insurance claims and forensic accounting. A Bachelor's or advanced degree in a relevant field is required, with a preference for candidates holding advanced designations.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience preparing and/or evaluating first-party insurance claims, financial damages, or related forensic accounting work
- Prior experience with claim preparation, contract reviews, and damages analysis
- Experience with accounting systems and software, budgets, contract reviews, and performing analysis
- Intermediate / advanced proficiency with Excel, data analytic / data visualization tools, PowerPoint, etc.
- Strong client management and leadership skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills; experience in expert reporting/testimony
- Business development track record, including established client relationships and proposal development
Desired Qualifications
- CPA, CFF, CFA or other designations desirable
