Job Summary
Conduct audits and advisory services in accordance with professional standards, delivering risk-based assessments of internal controls and operational processes. Partner with business leaders to identify improvement opportunities, develop value-added recommendations, and strengthen organizational controls. Demonstrate strong communication skills to collaborate across all levels, influence decision-making, and drive alignment on audit plans. Execute cross-team efforts to increase Corporate Audit's effectiveness while maintaining accountability, agility, and professional skepticism. Work autonomously to assess complex situations, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions that balance business objectives with risk mitigation.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years' work experience within the financial services industry
- Bachelor's degree
- Must be able to pass a non-registered fingerprint background check to qualify as a fingerprinted person under FINRA
Desired Qualifications
- MBA, CPA, CIA, CFA preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong knowledge of risk management concepts, including inherent and residual risk, and evaluates the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls
- Works autonomously, proactively engaging stakeholders to deliver high-quality, value-added outcomes within defined scope, timelines, and objectives
- Exhibits high ethical standards, sound judgment, and professional skepticism when assessing risks, controls, and business processes
- Thrives in a dynamic environment by effectively prioritizing competing demands, adjusting to changing business needs, and meeting tight deadlines
- Leverages strong analytical capabilities to assess complex situations, identify root causes, and develop data-driven insights
