Insurance Analyst

Job Summary
Analyze insurance and claim data to identify trends, prepare detailed reports for management, and forecast future insurance trends. Evaluate risk, recommend coverage options, and conduct regular policy reviews to ensure completeness and accuracy. Manage claims by processing submissions, working through settlements, and analyzing insurer positions while maintaining relationships with third-party adjusters. Assist in policy development, premium allocation, and bond placement by compiling underwriting information and following up on broker documentation. Provide guidance to internal clients on policies and claims, resolve coverage inquiries, and collaborate with adjusters to contribute to insurance program development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Business, Insurance, Risk Management, or a related field
- CIP designation
- 3 yrs proven experience as an Insurance and Risk Analyst or similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of insurance policies, regulations, and industry standards
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
