Insurance Agent Trainee

Life Insurance Agent Trainee position in Greenville, SC. Field role focused on in-person home visits to collect premiums, conduct sales of new policies, and address service needs. For new unlicensed agents, a paid training period leads to licensing exams; after licensing, agents are assigned an existing book of business to generate income through a percentage of premiums and commissions. Responsibilities include conducting sales presentations, prospecting for new opportunities, maintaining strong customer relationships, collecting premiums on a pre-arranged schedule, handling beneficiary changes, claims, and loans, keeping records and processing policy paperwork. Requirements include at least 18 years old, valid driversence and auto insurance coverage, dependable vehicle, ability to pass background checks and drug screenings, and authorization to work in the United States.
