Job Summary
Conduct sales presentations, recommend products, and close new sales while prospecting for additional opportunities. Maintain strong customer relationships by collecting premiums on a pre-arranged schedule and responding promptly to service requests such as beneficiary changes, claims, and loans. Perform record keeping, accounting for money collected, and process policy paperwork to ensure accurate reporting. Grow the assigned territory through consistent new sales and devote time to fulfill role responsibilities. Complete paid training to study for and pass licensing exams before managing an existing book of business. Earn a percentage of collected premiums plus commissions on new sales within a pay-for-performance model.
Required Qualifications
- Customer service experience
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license with required auto insurance coverage
- Dependable vehicle for daily travel
- Ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle report, and drug screening
- Authorization to work in the United States
