Job Summary
Role focuses on developing Ownwell’s insurance offering and identifying appropriate coverage for clients; responsibilities include selling insurance policies, meeting clients to discuss needs, presenting policy details, advising on risk management and claim filing, and collaborating with product/engineering on automation opportunities. The candidate should be self-motivated with extensive knowledge of insurance products, strong interpersonal skills, ability to maintain client relationships, and drive year-over-year retention while supporting cross-functional teams nationwide.
Required Qualifications
- Must hold a Texas Property & Casualty insurance license.
- 1-3 years+ of sales experience in an insurance brokerage with a proven track record of sales success.
- Strong knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance.
- Demonstrate detailed knowledge of Property and Casualty insurance, marketplace, products, and services, developing productive business relationships with key insurance carriers.
