Job Summary
As a Personal Insurance Advisor, you will manage a personal insurance book of business, sell ICBC, and promote private auto coverage. Your responsibilities include developing new business opportunities through renewals and cross-selling new products, performing front-line underwriting, and writing new home, travel, and umbrella policies. You will engage with clients for renewal information and provide policy updates as needed. This role values self-starters with an entrepreneurial mindset who provide exceptional professional service while collaborating in a team-oriented environment.
Required Qualifications
- Level 2 General Insurance License
- 2+ years of previous insurance experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
