Job Summary
Insurance Advisor role at RBC in Montréal and surrounding QC locations. Provide inbound-home-and-auto insurance advice and solutions, leveraging Quebec Damage Insurance certificate/licence requirements, bilingual English/French client service, and relationship-building to meet individual and team sales goals. Conduct personalized needs assessments, use tools/calculators to support recommendations, understand underwriting/regulatory risk, follow procedures, and collaborate with partners to act as one RBC team. Job includes open hours Monday–Friday and a focus on delivering exceptional client experiences across Home & Auto insurance products, with emphasis on regulatory compliance, customer service, and cross-functional collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Bilingualism (English and French) required
- Must-have Willingness and ability to successfully obtain the Quebec Damage Insurance certificate delivered by l’Autorité des marchés financiers and the General Insurance License for Ontario
- High level of reading, comprehension and speaking in both languages
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build strong relationships and connect with clients
- Flexibility to work all shifts within the hours of operation
- Digital literacy across a broad range of services (i.e. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc.)
