Job Summary
Account Manager role at PIIAC/ ASC focused on growing the business by collaborating with independent agents across the state to obtain quotes for clients. The role blends account management, underwriting, and producer skills, requiring cultivation of strong agent relationships, timely and accurate quotations, data integrity, and compliant documentation within the agency management system. Responsibilities include driving growth and achieving sales KPIs, supporting new business, renewal, and retention processes, mentoring team members, coordinating with carrier partners on underwriting guidelines and industry trends, negotiating rates, and identifying process improvements while maintaining client files and contributing to team meetings. Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Hold the insurance license required by your state
- minimum of 5 years personal and commercial lines insurance account management experience
- Possess a valid driver’s license and a source of reliable transportation
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of insurance products and usages, rating procedures, underwriting procedures, coverages, and industry operations
- Be people-oriented, customer-focused, and professionally assertive in developing new client relationships and servicing existing clients
- Possess outstanding organizational skills with an ability to complete difficult assignments without supervision, sound business judgment, strong decision-making and superior written and verbal communication skills
- Have excellent time management skills, thrive in a team environment and Technology and Computer proficiency including agency management systems
