Job Summary
Insulator/Metal-man position at Austin Industrial in El Dorado, KS. Responsibilities include applying, removing, and repairing insulating material on surfaces and structures (air ducts, pipes, tanks, boilers, buildings) to control noise and temperature. Reads blueprints to select insulation material and measures, cuts, and fits insulation (fiberglass, foam, Styrofoam, cork, urethane) using hand tools, tape measure, and adhesives. Applies insulation, covers with protective material, and seals as required. Requires ability to work at heights and 3-5 years journeyman-level experience; must have a Driver’s License.
