Read blueprints and select required insulation materials like fiberglass, foam rubber, or urethane based on heat retention and surface specifications. Work at heights without fear, measuring and cutting insulation to size using handsaws, knives, or scissors. Fit, wrap, or attach insulation to structures such as air ducts, pipes, and storage tanks, then cover and seal with tape, sealant, or preformed plastic covers. Lift up to 50 pounds regularly while standing, walking, or climbing. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and hold an NCCER certification and driver's license. Four years of scaffolding experience is preferred.
