Job Summary
Insulation Installer performs installation and replacement of insulation materials in buildings and mechanical systems. Reads building plans and blueprints to calculate the quantity and type of insulation materials needed. Loads/unloads insulation, installs in attics, and measures/cuts insulation to fit walls, ceilings, and around pipes. Fastens insulation with tape, screws, staples, or fasteners. Follows safety guidelines and ensures installations meet quality standards. Offers year-round work with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for advancement. Requires knowledge of insulation materials, ability to use hand and power tools, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Construction and Related experience preferred
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools to install insulation
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be able to lift 35 pounds at a time
